Welcome to Woodburn, Watkins, and Jackson, LLP

Specialist in Texas Family Law

Family Law is a multi-faceted area of law that deals with family relations.   Family law encompasses such areas as: adoption, child custody and visitation, children's rights, child support, spousal support (alimony), separation agreements, civilian and military divorce (dissolution of marriage), marital property division (equitable division), elder law matters, estate planning, estates and trusts, wills and will contests, probate, insurance, cohabitation agreements, pre-marital (pre-nuptial) agreements, marriage and other legal issues pertinent to the family.

We are specialists in Divorce, which is the legal dissection of a marriage. Another area of expertise is the right of grandparents.  We feel that grandparents are major influences in the life of young children and should be entitled to see their grandchildren.    We understand that in some situations there are cases of spousal abuse and therefore we have no problems obtaining protective orders and we will be happy to help enforce any area of contempt.  We will be happy to handle any Juvenile law areas that may be necessary when raising children.

Since we are so close to the borders of Oklahoma and New Mexico we have no problems handling Interstate Disputes.   We will be happy to handle the appeal of a case where you are unhappy with the outcome.  If you have any questions, please contact us. We look forward to assisting you in any way. We know that it is a difficult time in your life and we are grateful that you have chosen us to be your expert.
